I had big dreams this December...to go to the Christmas tree farm and pick out the perfect Christmas tree. Usually we just go to Home Depot, load one up and come home so this was a new experience for Trent and I.
Theoretically, it seemed like the perfect day. Snowflakes falling and all, we headed out to Prairie Pine Plantation. But in reality, walking through a tree farm in snow is not the easiest task. It’s also tough to tell how the tree looks when there are several inches of snow on piled on top.
So we looked, and looked and looked. Finally settled on one thinking it might be a little short, but it would do. It is a little short and wide, but it has character!
I am thankful for the experience on the “perfect” December day. I can’t wait to decorate the tree and watch Elf and drink hot cocoa. So much to do, so little time!
Happy decorating...from our home to yours!

I'm jealous of all your snow. Watching Elf, decorating the tree, and drinking hot chocolate sounds like a fantastic idea :) Can't wait to see the tree!
